Siemens ST60 introduced
Siemens introduces the ST60 mobile phone with video
messaging technology
15 January 2004
Siemens
Mobile has announced the new slinky Siemens ST60, available in
the UK exclusively with T-mobile from March 2004.
The phone captures and sends video, has a digital
camera with 4 x zoom and a brilliant 65K display for instant communication.
The small (87grams) ST60, with its sleek lines and
lustrous metallic finish, is as smart as it is sexy. Siemens’
latest integrated camera phone not only captures video, it also
has a 4x zoom for more detailed digital still pictures so you
can switch between film director and photographer.
Despite its diminutive dimensions, Siemens ST60
hosts a compelling range of ‘personal organiser’ tools
- including email, detailed address book, organiser with reminder
functions, currency converter, calculator and more. These functions
are easy to use and access thanks to a simple 5-way joystick navigator.
The ST60 can easily be personalised - you can compose
unique 40-tone sound quality polyphonic ring tones, or quickly
download tones and Java applications using WAP 2.0 and the latest
GPRS technology. There are also Java-based strategy and action
games like arcade classic Tetris for gaming fans.
Available accessories for the ST60 include a Headset
PTT, a serial Data Cable, a Li-Ion Battery 750 mAh and EU or UK
charger.
