David, the Multi-Platinum selling artist, gave a short performance
to set the "flava" for the first Mobile Entertainment
Summit. The artist, who has sold in excess of 13 million albums,
also performe at the Congress’ sell out GSMA
Awards the night before.
The new Mobile Entertainment Summit reflects a growing
trend in the mobile and interactive entertainment industries to
combine and capitalise on the potential growth of mobile entertainment
to make money.
The Summit ran for three days with speakers from
Disney, Electronic Arts, Nokia, Vodafone, Motorola, MTV, Sony
BMG, Universal and EMI Music. . Craig David’s performance
at the Summit was followed by a conversation with one of the industry’s
leading authorities on mobile entertainment, Ralph Simon, about
Craig's interest and involvement in mobile and mobile music.
